About Blue Eyed Silver

Hi, I'm Sara.

Metalsmithing is fairly new to me; I’ve been soldering for just a few years, and I can’t believe it took me this long to fully dive into the process as my creative outlet. I began dabbling in metalsmithing for selfish reasons. Simply, I wanted more jewelry because I had ideas that I wanted to turn into reality. Everything I make is designed to be WORN. I only sell the most intentional pieces - things that I would happily wear myself.

I’m forever inspired by gemstones and nature, and fascinated by the science of working with metal. I like to play with natural elements like hand-sawed and forged leaves and petals, and textured silver granulation. You'll find these nature-inspired elements are often juxtaposed with high-shine finishes or polished gemstones.

Honestly, I'm having the best time creating wearable works of art, and I'm thrilled to share my joy of making with you. The way we adorn ourselves is important, and the pieces we choose to do that with should be important too. I hope you can find something here that brings you joy.

Thank you for shopping handmade.
